Buskey Cider opened in April 2016 in the popular craft beverage neighborhood of Scott's Addition in Richmond, Virginia. Our ciders push the limits, focusing on semi-sweet and dryer ciders on draft and in cans, using innovative techniques typically found in beer, wine, and bourbon.
Will Correll started fermenting cider in small batches in a Hampden Sydney dorm at the age of 22, and then moved locations after graduation to our friends’ shed in Richmond’s Church Hill neighborhood. We signed a lease in Scott’s Addition and opened in 2016 with four ciders on tap that Richmond was psyched to check out!
People really dug our industrial vibe and the history of our cidery, and liked being able to grab a pint of the very stuff that was being fermented in the building. Board games, drinking by the tanks, reclaimed pool table slate tabletops for drawing creativity — yeah, it’s pretty cool. Our cider is crafted from Virginia apples and we have a lot of integrity on what we use in our cider, while keeping things affordable for ya’ll on the reg. Look for Buskey on tap and in cans in your favorite bars and restaurants around Virginia.
