Buskey Cider is rolling out its Tart Cherry Cider in cans on November 11th, the first flavored cans that the cidery has released. The cherries used in the Tart Cherry lend this cider its signature blush color while complementing the apples to create a bright and refreshing cider.
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond residents took part Sunday in the Red, White and Blue “Cider-bration” at Buskey Cider in Scott’s Addition. Participants had patriotic-colored flights, plus free hot dogs. The celebration goes on until the day after the Fourth of July.

Buskey Cider will begin canning this week for a can launch date of January 21, 2017, producing the first 12 oz 6-pack of canned hard cider in Virginia. The first canned offering from Buskey Cider will be their RVA Cider which will originally be sold from the tasting room at 2910 W. Leigh Street in Scott’s Addition, located in Richmond, Virginia. Distribution of the cans will begin in the coming weeks in Richmond locations through Loveland Distributing.
Scott’s Addition’s Buskey Cider had several of its apple trees vandalized over the weekend, a spokesperson for the cidery says.
A total of three trees were ripped up by someone sometime in the overnight hours of Saturday. Buskey has 22 trees in all lining W. Leigh Street and the alleyways surrounding the building.
Today is August 4, or 8/04, and Buskey Cider in Scott’s Addition is hosting an #804Day event to celebrate Greater Richmond.
Buskey Cider, which launched nearly three months ago in Scott’s Addition, will soon have more hard cider to go around.
